My career in finance covered the life cycle of starting, building and selling a business in America working out of New York City and Seattle. Money isn’t everything. As a sideline to venture capital and investment banking, I taught university MBA-level classes and developed curriculums for U.S. veterans through the Yellow Ribbon program and micro-loan organizations in the U.S., Canada and South Africa. A weekly Q & A format column on entrepreneurship for Hearst-owned properties lead to work for MSN, Yahoo and others. That’s when a love of writing in all forms took hold. Short stories and my first novel to come.
